I'm Chika Obiora, the composer, sound designer, and musician behind ECHO & AWE.
I've been a musician of some sort since I was 10 years old, performing in everything from choirs to metal bands. I've always loved video games, and in 2020 like many people, I found the time to merge those two passions and have spent every spare minute since then having fun learning all I can.
As a composer and sound designer, I'm drawn to melodies, rhythm and unique, organic sounds that can add rich texture and atmosphere to game worlds.
With a background in psychology, design, and music from Rutgers University and Berklee College of Music, I can be both creative and technical. I'm always looking to connect with developers at any stage, whether you're working on your first game or your tenth.
